How to change a players name.

Using the Vault Manager

Run the vault manager
Open the AllPlayers node.
Select the player you wish to change the name. ¹
Right click over the player and choose "Edit"
On the right side edit the IString64_1 to change their name and click OK.
Next Subscribe to the player you just changed (their name will show up as the new name).
Right click on the new node that appears at the top level and choose "Edit". It will have the old name.
Again edit the IString64_1 and change their name and click OK
Next open up the subscribed player node and open the AgesIOwnFolder
Open each Link node and right click on the direct child of that and choose "Edit"
Change String64_3 and the Text_1 fields with the new name.²

If you are running plasma server version 0.38.10 and above you can change an players name by going to

http://yourserverip:7678/FindPlayer

and enter either the KI ID or the player name and click "Find". Then you can change the players name from the form that appears.
